You watched the Optimized Attorney webinar and claimed your Google Places listing. You cleaned up redundant listings and optimized your highest-performing ones. But you’re still not appearing in the A spot for your designated Google maps search terms.

The solution? Get client reviews.

If your clients aren’t web-savvy, they may shy away from this request. But with our short tutorial, your clients will fly through the review process–and your Google Places ranking will be boosted.

Below are the four basic steps to leaving a review:

1. Navigate to the proper Google Places listing. You can make this easier for your clients by sending them a direct link via email.
2. Click on the red WRITE A REVIEW button at the top of the listing (right below the business name). Alternately, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the red REVIEW button.
3. Sign in to your existing Google account. If you don’t have one, you can easily link your current email address to a Google account and use that to log in.
4. Review the law office in two ways. First, give them a starred rating (out of five) and then write an honest, straightforward review. Click PUBLISH, and you’re done!
